Cindy J. (Lowrey) Bigelow, 63 of Medway died Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Metro West Medical Center in Natick after a courageous battle with Primary Lateral Sclerosis. She was the beloved wife of John L. Bigelow, III who she married in 1974.

Born in Brighton on December 10, 1954, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Marion E. (Ravinski) Lowrey.

Cindy was a lifelong resident of Medway and graduated from Medway High School in 1972. She earned her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Mass. Bay Community College in 1990 and worked as a Registered Nurse at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston for 26 years.

Family was most important to Cindy and she cherished her time with them, especially summers on Cape Cod.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons Scott Bigelow and his partner Colleen Cunnally of Medway and Dennis Bigelow and his wife Stephanie of Medway and Cindy was a devoted grandmother to Dylan, Jayna, Cody, Brent, Declan and Alanna.

She is also survived by three sisters, Cheryl Cook of Dalton, Georgia, Lynne D’Angelo of Franklin and Teresa Davis of Holliston and many nieces and nephews.

Cindy was predeceased by her son Matthew Bigelow, her brothers Jack and Larry Lowrey and her sister Maryanne Nicholson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Medway Community Church, 193 Main Street in Medway on Saturday, May 26 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Medway.
