Dear Friends,
The metaphor of opening a door is very profound here at Compassionate Care ALS. Every day we open many doors while visiting our families, never knowing what awaits us on the other side. In turn, we open doors of possibilities while people are living and dying with ALS. We bring a myriad of choices and resources along with calm, guidance, awareness, counsel, and equipment as we strive to walk the path with over 600 active families as they face the day to day realities of ALS.
There is now another door that we need your help to open. We are $700,000 away from completion of the capital campaign to build our ALS Education and Retreat Center. To date we have raised $2.8 million of our $3.5 million campaign. We hope to open those doors in late spring of 2018. Your support makes the dreams of many individuals come true, as we host those living with ALS and their families and caregivers for sanctuary, respite, education, self-inquiry and contemplation. By supporting this appeal you are ensuring that we are able to open our doors to the entire CCALS community.
