COVID Response

Compassionate Care ALS’ main priority at this time is making sure all ALS individuals, families, caregivers, and communities are safe and informed on the facts of COVID-19 and steps to prevent illness.

Out of an abundance of caution our staff will temporarily stop making in-person home visits to protect families and staff from potential risk of exposure. For the immediate future we will replace home visits with check-ins via conference calls, Facetime, text, email and/or Skype with all of our CCALS families. We will be available to receive your calls as our office will continue to be staffed. Regarding social distancing, note that we are available to speak with you if you have any questions or concerns. If there are any equipment needs, please let us know and we will do our best to get items to you.

Please stay educated and updated on COVID-19 through the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and through your state's Department of Public Health. We thank you for your understanding.

Event Postponements

To ensure the safety of all of our supporters, we will be postponing the following events until the fall in response to COVID-19. Our primary concern is the health and well being of everyone attending and participating in this year’s event. We will keep all participants updated on the new dates and provide more information at a later time.
